Rigorous Training

Our technicians are first trained in our own training facility. We have classroom and hands-on instruction assuring you that the person who shows up at your door is not being trained "on the job".  After we personally train and give them examinations they move to getting the CSIA national chimney sweep certification. More Flue Season training and national certifications may be earned in wood, gas, and pellet systems, inspection, fire investigation, and public speaking. Our technicians are proud of their education and knowledge.

The Technician who comes to your home will be a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep.  Some companies only have certification for the owner, not for all the techs. Of the 5 certified sweeps north of Sacramento over the last 11 years 4 have been with Flue Season.
